Designed by Andrea Williams at Texas A&M University – Commerce, Morticia was a tricky build. Between the stretch velvet, spider web lace, and the fact that it had to be able to quick change on stage we had our work cut out for us. The pattern was draped on form and then altered in fittings to create the form hugging dress Morticia is known for. The “Tango” quick change was achieved with strategically placed magnets and an invisible zipper.
